Assistant Company Secretary


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act 2016 and other related Act in relation to Company Law.
  • Responsible for the full spectrum of the company secretarial function.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of statutory documents, administrative records and updating of register of members, directors, secretaries, charges, substantial shareholders etc.
  • Prepare resolutions, annual returns, minutes of meetings, board papers, statutory forms etc.
  • Prepare filings and reports as required to regulators, governmental authority and inter-related company.
  • To monitor follow up action taken after the meetings, and maintain a rolling agenda.
  • Keeping abreast with corporate secretarial developments and all relevant regulatory requirements and highlight it to the Regulatory and Compliance Manager from time to time
  • To undertake other ad-hoc assignments as and when required
  • Liaising with Auditors/Finance on relevant matters of the company.


  • ICSA or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a corporate or legal department of an established public listed company or a legal firm
  • Well-versed in Companies Act 2016, Interest Scheme Act 2016 and relevant company law
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work under pressure f) Reliable with a strong send of integrity and possess high confidentiality and commitment level
  • Experience in handling legal agreements will be an advantage h) Able to work independently and with minimum supervision
  • Must be willing to work in Shah Alam
  • Be meticulous and able to meet deadlines
  • Full time position is available  .

  • To drive luxury cars for Company Director and family.
  • Safe and comfortable transportation service.
  • Strictly adheres to traffic rules and regulations.
  • MUST be able to work long hours including weekends and public holidays (Overtime is paid where applicable)
  • Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other job/ function that may be assigned to.


  • At least 3 years’ experience as Personal Driver.
  • Possess Valid Class D driver’s license.
  • MUST be well-versed with KL, Shah Alam and surrounding roads.
  • Has knowledge in handling and good upkeep and maintenance of car.
  • Punctual, highly disciplined, honest and with good attendance record.
  • Possess good eyesight and road driving consciousness.
  • Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
